Underwater Welding
Over the last 10 years underwater welding has progressed rapidly and has obtained greater client confidence due to the introduction of better welding electrodes, better training and a greater understanding of the factors that affect the weld quality produced.
Previously under water welding was a process for a last resort solution to an under water problem. Many successful projects have now been completed worldwide to put a different light on the subject. These ground breaking jobs have set new boundaries for future operations.
Here at RRI we have skilled technicians on our team who have the training and certification from Hydroweld, the world’s leader in this field. They have extensive knowledge and experience to complete the hardest of under water welding tasks. These people are not just welder/divers but engineers capable of offering excellent expert advice due to years of service as top side and under water welders.
The advantages of quality under water welding are extensive, giving another dimension to under water solutions.

- Structural repairs to platforms (cracks in members, blast damage etc.)
